Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Medical Diversity Scholarship Program
The Medical School Diversity Scholarship, established in 2014, is part of the Buckfire & Buckfire law firm's initiative to recognize medical school students who do outstanding work to promote ethnic diversity in their community. Applicants must:
Be a member of an ethnic, racial, or other minority or any individual who demonstrates a defined commitment to issues of diversity within their community
- Be a U.S. citizen currently attending an accredited medical school within the United States
- Have academic achievement as reflected by a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least one semester of classes completed at an accredited medical school
- Submit a completed scholarship application form; a one-page, typed essay; and a certified, official copy of his/her medical school transcript
